Three Bulldogs In Finals Of The 200 Meters At The NCAA Outdoors

Senior Dion Crabbe, junior Pierre Browne and sophomore Marquis Davis all advanced into the final nine of the 200 meters at the NCAA Outdoors.
However, the Bulldogs men's 4x100m relay team failed to make the first exchange and will not advance to Friday's final. The team of freshman Glenn McFadden, sophomore Marquis Davis, senior Dion Crabbe and junior Pierre Browne were ranked as the second-best team in the country.
Browne placed second in the second heat and fifth in the preliminaries, finishing the 200 meters in 20.65. Crabbe took seventh overall and second in the third heat, running his second best time of the season at 20.46. Davis finished the final heat in 20.76, his best time of the season and ninth overall in the preliminaries.
MSU resumes action Thursday evening with the 100-meter dash preliminaries at 7 p.m. at Bernie Moore Track Stadium on the campus of Louisiana State University. Live updates are available on www.lsusports.net.
