Cold Weather Forces Lady Bulldogs And No. 5 Florida Indoors

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Freezing temperatures that invaded the Starkville area overnight have forced 65th-ranked Mississippi State's 1 p.m. tennis match with fifth-ranked Florida to McCarthy Gymnasium.
Sunday's match was originally scheduled to be played at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre, but the near-record low temperatures forced the match to be moved indoors.
Today's contest will be State's second indoor contest of the spring. Rain forced MSU into McCarthy Gymnasium on Feb. 3. State went on to down Itawamba Community College 6-0 in the Lady Dogs' indoor facility.
