Fall 2001
Played in the final tournament of the fall, the SEC Fall Coaches Classic in Stone Mountain, Ga... Played singles only during her only action of the season... Posted an 0-2 mark, but was bothered by an injury... Showed tremendous potential in lone action of the fall... Dropped a tough three-set decision to Alabama's Julie Ferguson, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4... Fell to Korrin Scott of Vanderbilt in the B Draw's West Bracket by a 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 deficit.
2000-2001
Played in 12 matches during the spring, posting a 3-9 overall mark... Competed at the No. 5 position for seven matches... Broke her string of Court 5 appearances with a streak of matches at No. 4... Went 3-8 in dual match action... Played solid tennis in three-set matches, posting a 1-2 mark when going the distance in a match... Notched a 2-0 mark in tie breaks... Picked up her first career win when she defeated South Alabama's Viktoria Stoklasova 6-4, 4-6, 7-6... Claimed her first conference victory two matches later, defeating Auburn's Liz Sauerborn 6-1, 6-2 to help the Lady Bulldogs to a 4-3 win over the Lady Tigers... Defeated TCU's Saber Pierce 6-4, 7-6 in a hard-fought 4-3 decision... Saw most of her doubles action with Amelie Detriviere... Claimed a team fourth-best .533 winning percentage (8-7) with Detriviere... Helped MSU take the doubles point over Ohio State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, claiming an 8-6 victory over Laura Maloney and Sadhaf Pervez... Also paired with Detriviere to down LSU's Amy McIlhaney and Fernanda Tsucamoto 9-7... The win gave MSU the doubles point en route to a first-round win at the SEC Tournament... Teamed with Detriviere to win five of their first seven matches... Opened with an -2 win over Georgia State's Bloomberg and Mitchell... During that time they claimed a three-match winning streak that included an 8-6 decision over Georgia's Anne Nguyen and Christa Grey, and an 8-3 victory over South Carolina's Catherine Brown and Katarina Markovski.
