
Baseball Scrimmages This Weekend Free And Open To The Public

STARKVILLE, Miss. – With nearly two weeks until Opening Day, the Mississippi State baseball team will play three intrasquad scrimmages this weekend at Dudy Noble Field. Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday's games beginning at 3 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Friday's game will feature preseason All-American right-hander Dakota Hudson squaring off against left-hander Daniel Brown.
Saturday will feature two more pitchers who found success in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League this past summer, as junior righty Austin Sexton and junior southpaw Vance Tatum go one-on-one.
Sunday's scrimmage will showcase two talented first-year players when lefty Ethan Small battles right-hander Noah Hughes.
General admission season tickets ($205) and an eight-game Friday mini plan ($50) are currently being sold at HailState.com/tickets. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS.
Opening Day at Dudy Noble Field for Cohen and company is Friday, Feb. 19. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. CT against Florida Atlantic.
