STARKVILLE, Miss. – In the final event of the fall, the Mississippi State men's tennis team heads south on Friday as Bulldog representatives compete at the Pensacola Futures at the Roger Scott Tennis Center to officially close out the fall season.
The tournament features a 128-player qualifying singles draw on Nov. 11-14, before heading into the event's 32-player main draw on Nov. 15-20. On the doubles side, there will only be a 16-team main draw set for Nov. 15-20 as well. The Bulldogs will play on a clay surface at the Roger Scott Tennis Center.
"We're excited to provide our team with another opportunity to play against professional level competition," head coach Matt Roberts said. "We've had an amazing fall season and we hope to cap it off strong this weekend in Pensacola. Each tournament we play is another chance to improve and develop and so far our guys have done that with every event this fall."
