MSU’s Harrison Moved Into Qualifying At Riviera/ITA All-American

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – As the result of a late withdrawal, the Mississippi State women's tennis team will now have four players competing in qualifying action beginning Tuesday at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.
State's 84th-ranked junior Madison Harrison was scheduled to match up with Old Dominion's Natalia Vlasova on Saturday as the No. 3 seed in pre-qualifying action, but received news that she had been moved into the qualifying draw after a withdrawal.
Harrison is set to join 75th-ranked MSU sophomore Anastasia Rentouli on Tuesday on the singles side. The State duo of senior Jasmine Lee and freshman Lisa Marie Rioux will also represent the Bulldogs in the doubles qualifying draw. All players will be looking to advance to the tournament's main draw, which begins Thursday.
The All-American Lee, ranked eighth nationally, is already entered in the tournament's main draw in singles. She returns to the Riviera/ITA after winning the singles consolation championship of the event last fall.
