
MSU?s Lee Selected To Play In Inaugural 2015 Oracle/ITA Masters

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Just days after being ranked 23rd nationally in the preseason, Mississippi State women's tennis player Jasmine Lee was selected to participate in the 2015 Oracle/ITA Masters in Malibu, California. The elite national tournament, featuring just 16 of the nation's top players, will start Friday and end Sunday.

Lee is guaranteed at least two matches to showcase her skills against other top competitors from around the nation. A 2015 First Team All-SEC selection, Lee will open competition on Friday at 12 p.m. PT against 13th-ranked Sinead Lohan of Miami.
The inaugural Oracle/ITA Masters, being hosted by the Malibu Racquet Club and Pepperdine University, is the first national collegiate championship of the 2015-16 slate. Sunday afternoon's men's and women's singles finals will be telecast live by the Tennis Channel.
“It is a tremendous honor for Jasmine to be selected for this prestigious event,” MSU head coach Daryl Greenan said. “It is also a great opportunity for her to test herself among the top players in the nation.”
