Weather Cancels Baseball Game Against Northwestern State

STARKVILLE, Miss. – With Tuesday evening's forecast calling for heavy rain and severe lightning in the area, Mississippi State baseball's scheduled 6:30 p.m. game against Northwestern State has been canceled.
The decision was made early Tuesday morning due to the fact NSU had planned to make the 350-mile trip at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Bulldogs are currently exploring all possibilities to reschedule with the Demons for a future date this season. Fans with tickets to Tuesday's game can use their ticket for the rescheduled game. If MSU cannot find a replacement game, season ticket holders can use their ticket in exchange for a general admission ticket to any remaining 2015 contest.
Head coach John Cohen's club returns to action this weekend against No. 7 Florida at Dudy Noble Field as part of #SBW15. The Maroon and White play the Gators at 6:30 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
