Agarwal Advances At Player?s Choice 10K Futures

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Rishab Agarwal defeated Leandro Portmann in two-sets on Tuesday, moving on to the second round of the Player's Choice Open main draw.
Agarwal took a straight-sets victory, defeating the Argentinian, 7-5, 7-5.
Following two-consecutive days of rainouts, freshman Lucas Sanchez wrapped up his qualifying round match on Tuesday. The freshman fell in three sets to Giovani Samaha, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 7-6(3).
The Bulldogs will continue their time in futures events after wrapping up in Birmingham, traveling to Niceville, Fla., on Nov. 6-13.
