
Agarwal, Braun End Action At ITA All-Americans

TULSA, Okla. – Junior Rishab Agarwal and freshman Niclas Braun fell in the opening round of qualifying doubles, ending their time at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
Louisville's Sean Donohue and Courtney Lock edged out the Bulldog tandem of Agarwal and Braun, 6-4, 7-6 (4). For Braun it was his first doubles action of his Bulldog career.
On the singles side, Agarwal competed in the consolation bracket Tuesday morning, but lost to Wake Forest's Makism Kan, 6-3, 6-2. The Hyderabad, India, native entered the consolation bracket after falling in the qualifying round to Northwestern's Strong Kirchheimer, 6-3, 6-2, on Monday.
The two Bulldogs will travel to Houston, Texas on Friday to compete at the USTA Futures on Oct. 9-15.
