Newnham finishes 6th at NJCAA District 4 Preview

ALAEXANDER CITY, Ala. – Johnny Newnham posted a career-high finish en route to placing sixth at the NJCAA District 4 Preview on Tuesday.
The sophomore from Jamaica shot a 75 for a two-day total of 146.
T.J. Morgan also recorded a career high finish with a 73, putting him in at a 147 for the tournament and tied for 7th in the final standings.
The career high finishes continued with Ben Follett-Smith carding a 74 and 148 to finish 12th.
Competing in his first collegiate tournament, Taylor Grant improved on Monday's round with an 80. Grant finished in a tie for 46th with a 161.
All Bulldogs competed as individuals, with Alabama's Jonathon Hardee winging the individual title and host Central Alabama wining the team title.
The Bulldogs have a lenghty layoff before playing again at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate on Feb. 23.
