Lady Bulldog Tennis Completes 2012 Fall Campaign

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State Lady Bulldog tennis completed its fall campaign Saturday, wrapping up play in the Jack Kramer Invitational as well as the Lakewood Ranch Invitational with a split squad playing in the two events.
At the Jack Kramer Invitational in Los Angeles, Alexandra Perper and Naomi Tran paired up to post a consolation doubles victory, taking down Erica Cano and Stacy Yam of UC Santa Barbara in an 8-2 decision.
Across the country in Sarasota, Fla., at the Lakewood Ranch Invitational, Lady Bulldog Geogiana Patrasc fell in a tough three-setter 1-6, 6-4, 7-6(2) in the semifinal round of singles to Caroline Hitimana of Florida. Petra Ferancova finished her fall dropping a hard-fought 7-6(5), 7-6(5) consolation contest against Alabama's Antonia Foehse.
