SARASOTA, Fla. - Jordan Zachary of the Mississippi State women's tennis team played the final match for the Maroon and White this fall in the consolation finals of the Lakewood Ranch National Intercollegiate Clay Court Championships.
After reeling off two victories in consolation play, Zachary, a native of Mississippi, competed in the finals of the consolation bracket at the tournament in Sarasota, Fla. Zachary faced Iris Rendon of FLGC and dropped a two-set battle, 6-4, 6-1.
The MSU Lady Bulldogs will begin its dual match season on Jan. 21, 2011 against Tulsa.
