Coachman, 4x400-Meter Relay Conclude Seasons At NCAA Championships

DES MOINES, Iowa ? The Mississippi State men's 4x400-meter relay team of O'Neal Wilder, Emmanuel Mayers, Chris Woods and Jamil Hubbard ran 3 minutes, 5.60 seconds to finish 11th in the semifinals and senior Golden Coachman ran 1:48.58 to finish 12th in the men's 800-meter run semifinals on the second day of the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The event is being held at Drake Stadium on the Drake University campus in Des Moines, Iowa.
Junior Marrissa Harris begins competition in the heptathlon Friday and Wilder competes in the men's 400-meter dash semifinals. Kendall May will run in the men's 100-meter dash final at 8:45 p.m.
