MSU Through First Two Rounds At UNCG Bridgestone

MSU started off the day by shooting a first-round, 11-over-par 299, highlighted by a 2-under-par showing from senior Carlos Sainz, Jr. Sainz followed that score up with 4-over-par second round to finish the first two rounds of competition in a tie for 16th.
Fellow senior Noah Goldman posted a respectable 2-over-par 74 followed by a 78 and currently sits in a tie for 50th place after two rounds. Sitting one shot back of Goldman at 9-over-par is redshirt junior Brian Mason. Mason improved one shot on his first round 77 by shooting a 76 in the second round for a two-round total of 152 and sits in a tie for 53rd.
One place back in a tie for 56th is senior Josh Bevell who also improved on his first round score of 78, by scoring a 76 in the second round. Making his first team appearance of the season, senior Logan Young currently sits in 67th with a two round score of 157.
