ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. ?€“ Mississippi State's men's golf team fired a round of 307 and slipped into a tie for 11th with the Arkansas Razorbacks at the 2007 Southeastern Conference Men's Golf Championship in St. Simons Island, Ga.

State was led by Noah Goldman and Brian Mason, both fired 6-over par rounds of 76 at the par-70 Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club. Goldman and Mason stand tied for 22nd on the individual leaderboard after 36 holes. Sophomore Carlos Sainz, Jr. posted a round of 77 to put him in the 29th spot in the standings. Matt Fast rounded out the MState scorecard with a 78.

Tennessee took over the top spot in the team standings after registering the low-round of the day at 283. Alabama stands two strokes back heading into the Sunday's final round.
