Lady Bulldog Netters Complete Play At ITA Regionals

ATHENS, Ga. ? MSU's ITA Southern Regional Championships' competition came to a conclusion as play was cancelled due to rain. The main draws were moved indoors. However, due to time constraints, the consolation rounds were canceled.
State's Radka Ferancova was scheduled to play Central Florida's Isabell Ohlinger at 8 a.m. CT Monday morning in the B consolation draw. Officials waited two hours before being forced to cancel the consolation draws due to continued rains.
Mississippi State went 6-7 in singles play at the ITA Regional Championships while also going 2-3 in doubles play.
"We are getting better and better" said head coach Tracy Lane. "We are working hard in practice and it is showing in our matches."
Mississippi State's next competition will be at the SEC Fall Classic in Auburn, Ala., Nov. 1-4.
