Fall 2010 (Junior):
Competed in nine singles matches during the fall... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Roberta Allison Fall Classic after a first round victory over Aya Bara of Baylor... Saw action in eight doubles matches... Mixed in her talents in all four tournaments for the Lady Bulldogs this fall.
2009-10 (Junior):
Did not see any action during the fall but worked with Coach Greenan to prepare for the spring... Collected six wins in the spring against highly talented opponents... Picked up her first SEC win in her conference opening match against Kentucky's Minette Pienaar... Compiled seven wins in doubles play with four coming alongside former Bulldog, Radka Ferancova... Her biggest doubles win was against Tennessee's pair of Katie Lee and Kata Szekely... Seeks to add even more competitiveness to the Lady Bulldog netters this year.
Pre-MSU:
Mariia came to the Lady Bulldogs by way of School N109 in Russia... A talented junior tennis player, Mariia first started playing tennis at six years of age....She competed at her school and in tournaments while in Russia.... She came into contact with Lady Bulldog Coach Max Fomine during the recruiting process and is now proud to call Mississippi State and the Lady Bulldog tennis team her new home.
