Senior Year: (2015-16):
Finished in the Top 20 in the Tennessee Women’s Open, as well as placing 5th in amateurs at the same event. She shot a 79 at the first event of the season, The Cougar Classic. In the Schooner Fall Classic she carded a career-low 69 and finihshed 30th overall. She finished T50 in the Alamo invite, shooting a three-day total 227.
Junior Year (2014-15):
Appeared in four tournaments. Shot a 220 in the Old Waverly Invitational, which marked her lowest round total of the season. She finished tied for 11th. She was also a recipient of the Spirit of State Award.
Sophomore Year (2013-14):
Competed in two events and finished with a 78.0 stroke average. Playing as an individual in the Old Waverly Bulldog Individual, she fired her career-low 71 in the third round to finish T30th. In her only other appearance at Lady Bulldog Individual Championship at Georgia, Chaney fired a two-round total of 163, finishing tied for 34th overall.
Freshman Year (2012-13):
Made her career debut, competing as an individual in the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational. She also appeared in the MSU lineup for the first time during the Johnie Imes Invitational, posting a 239. She rebounded by chiseling eight strokes off her tally from the first to second round in the Mercedes Benz Women’s Collegiate Championship. She also competed as an individual in the JMU/Eagle Landing Invitational, posting a 24-over-par 240.
Prior to MSU:
Finished third in the 2012 AHSAA State Championship Tournament. She was the low medalist at the Huntsville Metro Tournament. Was a member of the All-Tournament team for every tournament played during the 2012 season. She was the No. 1 player on team five consecutive years. Chaney was a semifinalist at the Women's Alabama State Am, as well as a SJGT Tournament Winner, AJGO Points Champion Winner, and a AJGA Top 10 finisher.
