Competed in the Cougar Classic, firing a three-day total of 237. She also played in the Schooner Fall Classic and had a career-low 72 round, with a two-day total of 146 to finish T33rd. In the Jim West Challenge she fired a 229. Her second lowest round of the year came in the second round of the Alamo Invite. with a 73. At the UCF Challenge and the Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate she shot a 230 and 232 respectively. At the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Theron fired a 229 and at the LSU Tiger Classic she shot a 231. In her SEC Championship debut she fired a 234 overall.Â
Prior to MSU:
Theron was South African player-of-the-year in 2010, as well as Sportswoman of the year. She won SA Girls Tournament in 2011, as well as the Duke of the York. Theron won the Order of the Merit in South Africa three-consecutive times from 2012-14. She also received the subject specialist award in math and accounting in 2015 at her high school.
