After spending four years as a student manager for the Old Dominion women’s basketball team, Isaiah Fernandez rejoined Nikki McCray-Penson’s staff as a graduate assistant manager.
In his new role, Fernandez will assist McCray-Penson and the Bulldog coaching staff in various day-to-day operations of the program both on and off the court.
At Old Dominion, Fernandez helped the staff with all basketball activities from traveling with the team for games to assisting with scout team work.
Fernandez is a native of Hopewell, Virginia. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from ODU in May 2020. His career aspiration is to one day become a college basketball coach.
