Improving her game in the summer months before the season, Peng competed in the 2015 Universidad in Korea where she tied for third overall, helping her team finish with a fourth-place card. Fired a 222 overall in the Cougar Classic to help her place tied for 29th. Shot back-to-back 69's in the Schooner Fall Classic to lead the team with a 138 total and sixth-place finish. In the Jim West Challenge she finished 30th over all, with a team best, 223. She fired a 226 at the Alamo Challenge. She recovered to her normal play and shot a 69 in the second round of the UCF Challenge, where she placed 25th overall. In one of her best outings of the season, Peng fired a 214 at the Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate finishing T7. She fired a 231 and 233 at the Darius Rucker and LSU Tiger Classic respectfully. She led the team in the SEC Championship firing a 222 and finishing tied for 20th.
Sophomore Year: (2014-15):
Competing in every event last season, Jessica Peng led the team in Top 10 finishes. Shooting under par in two tournaments, The Schooner Fall Classic and The Cougar Classic, Peng finished six of the eight tournaments in the Top 10, including four in the Top 5. She finished second on the team at the SEC Championship with a 225 total. Totaled a 225 at the NCAA Regionals.
Freshman Year: (2013-14):
Named to the SEC All-Freshman squad, only the second Bulldog in school history to earn the honor. Holds the lowest single-season stroke average as a freshman in school history at 73.58. It's the third-best average of any player in MSU history. Posted four Top 10 scorecards, including two runner-up medals in The Waverly and Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. The Taoyuan, Taiwan, native fired the lowest 36-hole score ever by a Bulldog with a 7-under-par 137 after two rounds in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. Peng also owns the lowest 18-, 36- and 54-hole scores by any freshman in MSU history. In 11 events where, had stroke average of 73.71.
Prior to MSU:
Finished second with 4-under-par in the 2011 AJGA Junior Challenge at the Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, Calif. Posted a sixth-place finish as an amateur in the Srixon XXIO Ladies Open Tournament, a professional event posted by the LPGA. Notched a win and a runner-up finish on the CITIC Bank China Amateur Tour. Ranked as high as the 39th best amateur worldwide according to the Polo Jr. Golf Rankings. Ranked No. 1 in the China Amateur Tour in 2010.
