2008 OUTDOOR:
Finished with a personal-best time of 47.30 at the Jaguar Premier meet in the 400m in second place … Also at the Jaguar Premier, Woods along with John Bailey, Jamil Hubbard, and Emanuel Mayers recorded a qualifying mark in the in their first-place finishing 4x400m relay squad in 3:09.30 (3/8) … Ran to a second-place finish in the 400m at the USM Invitational while he and the 4x400m relay won first (3/15) … Finished second in the 400m at the Jace LaCoste Invite and ran the final leg of the winning 4x400m relay team (3/22) … Recorded a regional qualifying mark at the Bulldog Invitational in the 800m run with a time of 1:48.40 in first place while also earning a regional qualifying time for the second time on the season at 3:07.70 in the 4x400m relay with Jamil Hubbard, Golden Coachman and John Bailey (3/29) … At the Texas Relays, Woods, Jonathan Rono, Emanuel Mayers and Golden Coachman ran the 4x800m relay in 7:23.22 to finish third and second place in school history … He also ran the 4x400m relay with Hubbard, Bailey and O’Neal Wilder, earning a new NCAA regional qualifying standard at 3:05.28 in fifth place (4/5) … At the Ole Miss Invite, the 4x400m squad won first at 3:08.47 with Coachman, Hubbard, and Mayers (4/12) … Took first in the 800m at 1:48.55, a regional-qualifying time, at Georgia’s Bulldog Limited (4/19) … Finished in third in the 4x400m relay at 3:05.72 with Bailey, Hubbard and Wilder at the Penn Relays while also finishing in second with the same squad in the sprint medley relay at 3:16.83, moving into fourth all-time at MSU (4/25) … In the Championship of America race for the 4x400m at the Penn Relays, they took fourth (4/26) … Came in fourth place at the Mississippi Open in the 800m () … Took sixth at the SEC Championships in the 800m, also had a season-best 3:05.26 in the 4x400m with squad of Hubbard, Mayers and Wilder (5/18) … At the NCAA Championships, he, Wilder, Mayers and Hubbard finished the 4x400m in the semifinals in 3:05.60 to finish 11th (6/12).

Finished 25th in the preliminaries of the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:51.82 ... Qualified for NCAA Championships at the Mideast Regional with his fifth-place finish with a personal-best time of 1:48.15 in the finals of the 800 ... Ran 1:50.30 (11th) in the preliminaries of the 800-meter run at the SEC Championship ... Ran final leg of sprint medley relay that finished fourth at Penn Relays with time of 3:17.93 ... At the Auburn Invitational, ran another regional time of 1:48.94 to finish second ... Clocked a time of 48.18 at the FSU Snowbird ... Anchored winning sprint medley relay at the LSU Tiger Relays (3:19.57) ... At the Bulldog Invitational, ran second leg of second-place 4x400-meter relay team that set a regional qualifying mark (3:08.59) ...
