In doubles, the pairing of Lumsden and his partner, Han-Chih Lin, reached the Round of 16 in the ITA Northwest Super Regionals against Stanford’s pairing of Arthur Fery and Alexandre Rotsaert … A week later, the pairing of Lumsden and Nadim Suko recorded a win at the Pacific Invitational over the UC Davis duo of Ryan Torres/ Ryan Morgan (6-1) … In singles, Lumsden started the semester with a stellar win at the ITA All-American Championships against No. 107 Bradley Frye (6-3, 7-5) of USC … Lumsden also reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Northwest Super Regionals against Stanford’s Arthur Fery.
SPRING:
In doubles, the pairing of Lumsden and Jack Davis had several impressive conference victories, including starting off hot with a three-game winning streak over 32nd-ranked Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele (6-2) of Oregon, Axel Geller and Tomas Kopczynski (6-4) of Stanford, and Cal’s No. 44 Yuta Kikuchi and Carl Emil Overbeck (6-3) … Later in the semester, Lumsden and Davis picked up their other conference wins beating Arizona’s Herman Hoeyeraal and Jonas Ziverts twice. They downed Hoeyerall and Ziverts 6-2 on April 17 while the Wildcat tandem were ranked 51st and then defeated them by the same score four days later with Hoeyerall and Ziverts ranked 48th … In singles, Lumsden picked up victories against non-conference and conference opposition … He went on a tear at the start of the semester, going on a seven-match winning streak against non-conference opponents from Jan. 17-Feb. 6 … After that massive winning streak in the beginning of the semester, Lumsden got a stunning victory over 25th-ranked Phillip Henning (7-6[3], 6-0) of Georgia … Later in the semester, Lumsden beat a pair of conference opponents in Giacomo Revelli (6-4, 6-0) of UCLA and Jacob Bullard (6-1, 7-5) of Arizona State.

Lumsden was 3-3 at No. 2 singles, 7-5 at No. 3 singles, and 1-0 at No. 4 singles … He provided the clinching win in UW’s Pac-12 victory over Oregon, defeating Joshua Charlton, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 2 singles … Lumsden continued to be impressive, being competitive in nearly every match, as five of eight losses were in three sets, including a 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 loss to Stanford’s Arthur Fery, who ended the year ranked 70th, a 5-7, 6-4 (10-3) loss to Arizona’s Gustaf Strom, who ended the year ranked 52nd, and a 6-1, 4-6, (10-6) defeat to Arkansas’ Nico Rousset who ended the year ranked 79th … He earned straight set wins in both of UW’s 4-3 road wins at UCSB and San Diego State, beating Stefano Tsorotiotis of UCSB and Victor Castro of SDSU … He had a very impressive 6-4, 6-4 win over Geronimo Busleiman of Utah … In doubles, Lumsden was 10-8 in dual play, 10-7 with Han-Chih Lin, and 0-1 with Adam Torocsik … He went 1-0 at No. 2 with Lin and 10-7 at No. 3 with Lin, and 0-1 at No. 3 with Torocsik … With Lin, Lumsden had wins over Pac-12 foes from Oregon (6-2 vs Coste/Klov-Nilsson), Arizona State (6-2 vs Lerby/Hoffmann) and again against Oregon (6-1 vs Lam/Matsushita).

Lumsden got off to a strong start, posting a 5-1 singles record in the fall. In doubles, he went 6-1 with a multitude of different partners ... That impressive start to the season led to a great spring season for him as well.
SPRING:
In doubles, Lumsden was 10-9 in doubles matches including going 4-8 in duals, splitting time at all three spots ... In singles, he recorded his first win over a ranked opponent by beating No. 47 Corrado Summaria from Pepperdine 6-3, 6-4 (2/8/20) … He also jumped up in the lineup, going 8-3 in No. 2 singles … Unfortunately, their season was cut short due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Freshman (2018-2019) Washington

In singles, he picked up two nice wins to start the season in The ITA Northwest Regional Championships before eventually falling in the round of 32 to Phillip Hjorth of Pacific (7-5, 6-4) … Lumsden had a bye in the round of 64 in the Jack Kramer Invitational before losing to Matthew Pearce from BYU (6-1, 5-7, 2-6) … He did, however, play and win in the consolation game against Samuels of SMU (6-0, 6-1) … In doubles, the pairing of Lumsden/Turegano picked up a first-round win in the ITA Northwest Regional Championships against Lajos/Sears of Eastern Washington (8-3) before falling in the second round … The pairing of Lumsden/Smith lost in the round of 32 against Cernuda/Grande of Georgetown (8-5) in the Jack Kramer Invitational.
SPRING:
Lumsden led the team in singles wins with 14, going 14-10 including a 10-7 record in duals and a 2-2 record in Pac-12 matches … He spent most time at No. 5 singles, posting a 7-3 record … Lumsden also was 2-4 at No. 4 singles and 1-0 in lone match at No. 2 singles … He recorded first collegiate dual win with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Eleftherios Neos of Portland … His first Pac-12 dual victory came vs Utah in 6-3, 6-3 win over Mathias Gavelin … Lumsden picked up win playing at No. 2 singles by beating Mikayel Khachatryan of Eastern Washington 6-2, 6-0 to clinch the team win … He went 6-12 at No. 3 doubles and 1-2 at No. 2 doubles … He posted 5-7 record with Adam Torocsik in majority of matches at No. 3 doubles.
