In his first season at the school, he helped the men’s squad to a third-place showing at the NCAA Championship and a No. 1 ranking in Division II by Golfstat. The team claimed four team wins and six individual victories, including the South/Southeast Regional by 16 strokes.
The women’s squad also claimed the top spot in the Golfstat rankings before going on to take runner-up honors in Division II. The Lady Sharks won seven team titles, four individual championships and finished with a 123-8 record.
Goldman helped tutor six first-team All-Americans and 11 All-SSC members on both sides during his two seasons at the school.
