2012 JUNIOR SEASON: Named All-SEC Second-Team by the Associated Press and ESPN.com . . . Enjoyed a breakout junior campaign as he took over the starting running back position . . . Scored at least one rushing touchdown in each of the teams first seven games, one of only two players in the country to do so . . . Eclipsed the 100-yard mark four times . . . Finished the season seventh in the Southeastern Conference with a rushing average of 85.3 yards per game . . . 2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games, serving as a change-of-pace back out of the backfield and anchoring as the team’s kickoff return specialist . . . Carried the ball 87 times for 422 yards and two touchdowns, while catching 13 passes out of the backfield for 59 yards and two scores . . . Also returned 16 kickoffs for 363 yards . . . Ran for 78 yards on 11 carries in the SEC opener at Auburn, including a 40-yard touchdown sprint . . . Tallied 47 yards rushing on a season-high 12 carries to go along with two catches for 23 yards in the win against Louisiana Tech at home . . . The second catch was a 17-yard touchdown reception in the corner of the end zone to win the game in overtime . . . 2010 REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON: Burst onto the scene during his redshirt freshman season, amassing 566 rushing yards on 101 carries and adding 247 receiving yards on nine catches . . . Scored six touchdowns with three coming through the air and three on the ground . . . Tallied a team-leading 1,110 all-purpose yards . . . Rushed 18 times for 131 yards and a score against UAB, and added a receiving touchdown on the day . . . Had an Egg Bowl to remember, totaling 319 all-purpose yards with 98 rushing and 140 receiving . . . It was the second-highest single-game all-purpose yardage total in school history . . . Named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week and Rivals.com National Freshman of the Week for his effort . . . 2009 TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON: Sat out his true freshman season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Selected to play in the Mississippi-Alabama High School All-Star game . . . Ranked as the No. 37 all-purpose back in the country by national recruiting web site Rivals.com . . . That site also had him listed as the No. 24 prospect in Mississippi following his senior season . . . Named Second-Team All-State in all classifications at running back by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger newspaper . . . Earned First-Team All-State honors in Class 1A by the Mississippi Association of Coaches . . . Rushed 139 times for 1,915 yards, an amazing 13.8-yard per carry average, and 29 touchdowns, during his senior season . . . Added another 400 yards receiving and five more scores for Head Coach Phillip Wasson at Greenville St. Joseph High School . . . Rated with the top 25 high school prospects in the state of Mississippi by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger following his senior season . . . He led St. Joseph to an 8-4 record and into the second round of the state playoffs during his junior season . . . Made 38 tackles and four pass interceptions while playing defense . . .
