Gracen Harris prepped at Ennis High School under the direction of head coach Sam Harrell … He is a 4-star recruit by ESPN and a 3-star recruit by On3, 247Sports and Rivals … He was initially committed to Oklahoma … He played both wide receiver and quarterback in high school … In 2024, Harris had 64 receptions for 1,065 yards and 10 touchdowns … He also rushed for 395 yards and six scores while throwing for 236 yards and two touchdowns … In 2023, he totaled 1,031 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns while throwing for 531 yards, seven touchdowns … In 2022, earned Texas District 5-5A D-II First Team honors … In 2021, he was named the Texas District 8-5A D-II Offensive Newcomer of the Year … He also ran track in high school and posted a 22-2 long jump and a 47-11 triple jump.
