Finished in second place in the discus throw at the Bulldog Relays to earn a new personal bestย of 48.51m (3/23-26)... Won the discus throw at the LSU Battle on the Bayou to earn a new personal best of 50.02m (4/2)... Placed third in the discus throw at the Maroon and White Invitational to earn a new personal best of 51.11m (4/29-30).

2021 Outdoor Season
Finished in seventh in the discus at the Bulldog Relays with a mark of 48.04m (3/26) ... At the Florida Relays, he finished in 16th in the discus (4/3) ... Threw to a new-best mark of 48.40m in the discus at the Crimson Tide Invitational, placing 11th (4/10) ... Tied for 13th in the discus at the War Eagle Invitational (4/17) ... Threw the hammer for the first time at the Maroon & White Invite, finishing 18th with a mark of 43.38m; also threw to a 10th-place finish in the discus (4/30) ... Competed at Wilson High School โฆ Four-time state champion in the discus โฆ Broke his own state record as a senior with a mark of 56.46m, winning by more than 11m and surpassing his fatherโs record of 56.31m โฆ Also claimed the shot put title with a 14.90m throw โฆ Two-time TimesDaily Boyโs All-Area Track Athlete of the Year โฆ Won six career state titles, five outdoors and one indoors โฆ Was named the Most Valuable Performer in his final three years of high school โฆ Was selected to receive the Best Thrower award in five straight years โฆ Set the USATF Region 6 discus record while winning the region in 2014 and 2015 โฆ Claimed a bronze medal in the discus at the 2015 USATF Junior Olympics โฆ Won the USATF Region 6 shot put in 2015 โฆ Also played basketball and was named the teamโs defensive MVP in 2016 after setting school records for blocks in a single game and in a season.ย
