Schedule Set For Amegy Bank College Baseball Series

ARLINGTON, TEXAS โ The schedule for the 2027 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series was released on Monday and again has Mississippi State facing some stiff competition for the second year in a row.
The Diamond Dawgs opens the weekend with Dallas Baptist on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. MSU has a rematch against UCLA on Saturday, March 6 at 3 p.m. and will wrap up the event by taking on Wake Forest on Sunday, March 7 at 10:30 a.m.
All three games from Globe Life Field, home of MLB's Texas Rangers, will be streamed live on FloCollege.
Brian O'Connor's Bulldogs were mere inches away from winning the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series last season. Mississippi State won its matchups against Arizona State 8-4 and Virginia Tech 15-8 before falling 8-7 in 10 innings to the then top-ranked Bruins in the championship game.
The 2027 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series will mark just the second-ever meetings against Dallas Baptist (2007) and Wake Forest (1949) for the Diamond Dawgs. It will be the 10th time MSU has squared off with UCLA.
The remainder of the Bulldogs' non-conference schedule will be released at a later date.
