
Six From State Participating In MLB Spring Breakout

Six former Mississippi State players are among the top prospects participating in the third annual MLB Spring Breakout.
Pitchers Pico Kohn (Yankees), Eric Cerantola (Royals), Landon Sims (Diamondbacks), Will Bednar (Giants) and outfielders Colton Ledbetter (Cardinals) and Dakota Jordan (Giants) are representing the Diamond Dawgs in the 16-game event taking place in the Grapefruit and Cactus leagues from March 19-22 on MLB's digital platforms.
MLB Network will televise seven games live and nine others on tape delay.
Jordan is rated the No. 6 prospect in San Francisco's farm system while Kohn is ranked 10th among the Yankees' prospects.
MSU also has a half dozen of its former signees also playing in Spring Breakout: JoJo Parker (Blue Jays), Landon Harmon (Nationals), Dante Nori (Nationals), Jett Williams (Brewers), Blaze Jordan (Cardinals) and Maddux Bruns (Dodgers).
