The Final Horn: Arkansas 88, State 68

THE BOTTOM LINE: Mississippi State dropped an 88-68 decision to No. 21 Arkansas on Saturday afternoon at Humphrey Coliseum. The Razorbacks used a 19-2 run in the first half to help themselves to a 43-30 lead at the halftime break. In the second half, Arkansas kept its foot on the gas pedal by scoring 18 points in the first 5:19 minutes of action, leading by as many as 20 to eventually shut the door on State.
KEY NUMBERS: Josh Hubbard led State's offense with 16 points and five assists. Achor Achor added 15 points to go with eight rebounds and two steals in the effort, but it wasn't enough for the Dawgs. A large factor in the State loss was Arkansas totaling 19 points off 11 Bulldog turnovers.
NEXT UP FOR MSU: The Bulldogs will host Tennessee on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Humphrey Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. and the game will be aired on ESPN2.
