#STATEtoSundays: Week 4 Update
September 30, 2025 | Football
Aikman. Staubach. Romo.
The Dallas Cowboys have had some elite quarterbacks don the star on their helmets over the years. But none of those signal callers have completed more passes during the franchise's storied history than Dak Prescott.
The former Mississippi State standout has connected on 2,901 completions during his 10-year career as the Cowboys' starter.
Prescott produced one of his more memorable performances this past week in an overtime game against Green Bay. Prescott hit 31 of his 40 passes for 319 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions while also adding a 2-yard TD run.
It was the 22nd time he has had a rushing and passing score in the same game, which ranks third in the NFL since 2016 behind Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts. It was the 69th multi-touchdown game of his career and became just the ninth player in NFL history to complete over 75 percent of his passes on 40 attempts with three TDs and a rushing score.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) has Prescott atop the NFL with a 90.2 grade when facing pressure, 16.4 points higher than any other QB in the league. He ranks second at his position with an offensive grade of 91.2 this season and third in passing grade (90.4).
During Week 4, Prescott posted the second-highest offensive grade in the NFL at 84.6.
Jeffery Simmons also shined this past Sunday with four tackles for loss, one sack and finished tied for third on Tennessee with five total tackles. Simmons now has 33 ½ sacks over the course of his career.
The former first-round pick and three-time Pro Bowler earned the No. 2 defensive grade for the Titans during Week 4 at 82.4 and his 90.1 pressure grade for the season leads the team and ranks second among all interior defenders in the NFL.
Chris Jones recorded a tackle for loss during Kansas City's win over Baltimore in Dublin, Ireland last week. Jones has the highest pressure grade on the Chiefs this season at 78.4, which ranks 10th at his position across the league.
Darius Slay finished third on Pittsburgh's defense with five tackles and also posted the third-best tackling grade for the Steelers at 80.7 in their 24-21 win over Minnesota. Tyrus Wheat also secured his first tackle of the season while playing special teams for Detroit.
Overtime didn't stop Elgton Jenkins production or productivity. The Green Bay center played all 83 offensive snaps as well as five special teams reps while notching the No. 1 passing blocking grade (85.2) at his position in the NFL during Week 4. Jenkins' pass blocking grade for the season is the best among all Packers offensive linemen.
Charles Cross also logged all 66 offensive snaps for Seattle along with six special teams reps. The former first rounder posted the top pass blocking grade (81.2) for the Seahawks this past week and leads the team's O-line in both pass and run blocking this season.
Cross holds the No. 4 offensive grade among NFL tackles this season at 76.6 and his 83.7 pass blocking rating ranks eighth at his position.
