Bulldogs Set To Race In Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Mississippi State cross country is set to compete in the Southern Showcase, hosted by Jacksonville State, on Friday morning.
The race will take place at John Hunt Cross Country Park, with the gun going off at 8:30 a.m. for the women's 5k.
State will send 11 athletes to the line, seven of whom competed in this race last season. Gabrielle Boulay, Hunter Anderson, Morgan Grace Sheffield and Mallory Streetman will open their 2025 cross country season in tomorrow's race.
Nelly Jemeli, Naomi Jepleting, Brooklyn Quanz, Kaitlyn Burge, Trinity Holland and Sophie Santucci will compete in their second race of the season, after helping the team to finish first place at the Memphis Twilight XC Classic last month. Jepleting will look to improve on the 5k program record, which she broke at the season opener.
Louise Stonham rounds out the lineup for the Bulldogs, as she will make her cross-country debut for State tomorrow morning.
State returns to John Hunt Park after an eighth-place finish in last year's race. Ramat Jimoh, Â Boulay, Anderson and Burge were the fastest finishers for State, all of whom earned 5k personal bests.
