
Southeastern Conference Releases Soccer And Volleyball Television Schedules

STARKVILLE – The Southeastern Conference announced the television schedule for both soccer and volleyball on Thursday, giving Mississippi State six nationally broadcast games on the pitch and court combined this fall.  Â
State soccer's television slate features three matches, including two against teams that will open the season in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25. Five of State's 17 opponents this year will open 2025 as a ranked team. The first ranked opponent of the year visits Starkville on Sunday, Aug. 24 when the No. 20 Bulldogs will host 2024 national runner-up and preseason No. 10 Wake Forest on SEC Network at 6:30 p.m. CT.

In September, MSU will make two appearances on ESPNU beginning with the conference opener at home against Tennessee on Friday, September 12. That match is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. The following week will see the Bulldogs travel to No. 19 Texas for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU on Thursday, Sept. 18.
Fans can get primed for all the action this season with the SEC Now: Soccer Season Preview on Friday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. The one-hour special is hosted by Dari Nowkhah with former Georgia standout Marion Crowder and former Kentucky head coach Ian Carry to discuss all the must-knows ahead of first kick. Following the format from 2024, Thursday evenings will display a doubleheader of SEC action with games starting at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sundays will also be action-packed for fans throughout the fall, with a doubleheader to cap off the regular season on Oct. 26.
The SEC Soccer Tournament will once again air in its entirety on SEC Network, with full coverage details announced at a later date.
On the volleyball court, MSU will be featured on SEC Network three times, all at home in the Griss. The Bulldogs will host their in-state rival Ole Miss at 6 p.m. on Friday Oct. 10 for their first national broadcast of the year. MSU's remaining television games will be on Friday, Nov. 14 when State hosts Missouri at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 16 for the regular-season finale against Vanderbilt at 2 p.m.
To prepare viewers for this season's action, SEC Network is set to air a one-hour volleyball preview show on Friday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. Peter Burns will host the one-hour SEC Now, joined by volleyball analysts and former all-stars Missy Whittemore and Leah Edmond. Â

Fans can find matches weekly on SEC Network on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with conference play heating up on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

For the first time in two decades, the Southeastern Conference will once again host a conference volleyball tournament, which will air in its entirety on SEC Network/SEC Network+. The 2025 SEC Volleyball Tournament will take place at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia from Nov. 21-25.
