Soccer Match Against Arkansas State Canceled By Weather

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State had taken an early 1-0 lead off the foot of Chiara Tappe, but persistent lightning in the Starkville area canceled the Bulldogs' match with Arkansas State after 30 minutes of play on Thursday night.
The teams will make best efforts to identify a makeup date, and details will be communicated if one is agreed upon.
The Bulldogs remain at home on Sunday, Aug. 23 when they host Southern Miss at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
