
State Set To Host Louisiana Tech In Fall Exhibition

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State baseball fans will have the opportunity to catch an early glimpse of Brian O'Connor's Diamond Dawgs as they host a fall exhibition game against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 1.
The noon matchup is set for 16-innings and open to the public with free admission.
The home plate and right field gates will open at 11 a.m. A concession stand will be open with limited items and fans are permitted to bring their own food and beverages. The scrimmage against Louisiana Tech will mark the second exhibition game that MSU will participate in this fall. The Bulldogs also battled Florida State in a 14-inning exhibition on Oct. 18 in Pensacola in Blue Wahoos Stadium.Â
In addition to the Louisiana Tech exhibition, fans are invited to attend the Farm Bureau Diamond Dawg Classic powered by the Bulldog Initiative on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.This inaugural event brings back dozens of MSU greats to play in condensed alumni game.
Tickets are on sale now for the Diamond Dawg Classic. The alumni baseball game will be in conjunction with The Bulldog Initiative Dawgs Grand Slam Golf Event on Nov. 6 at Mossy Oak Golf Club in West Point with a noon shotgun start.
