
Sullivan Selected Semifinalist For Two-Way Honor

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State pitcher/designated hitter Noah Sullivan was selected as a semifinalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award.
Sullivan is the lone Diamond Dawg to start all 54 games this season. The junior is hitting .341 with 15 doubles, 13 home runs, and 43 RBIs. He tops MSU and is fifth in the SEC with a .474 on-base percentage and is tied for the team lead with 48 runs scored while also ranking second in doubles and third in homers and RBIs.
On the mound, the right-hander from Orlando, Florida has made seven midweek starts and sports a 1.96 earned run average. He has struck out 15 and only walked three through 18 1/3 innings of work but has not factored into a decision.
Sullivan was selected as the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Week on May 6 following his performances in a win over Memphis and a sweep of Kentucky. He is one of 10 semifinalists up for the honor with finalists being announced on June 4.
