STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's soccer has signed Canadian goalkeeper Jenny Harrison after a two-year career in the U Sports system where she ranked in the top 10 in the country in shutouts in back-to-back seasons at the Université de Sherbrooke.
Harrison was named to the 2023 Canadian All-Rookie Team after her .881 save percentage ranked fourth nationally. She started in 11 matches and recorded five shutouts with a 0.95 goals against average. Most-impressively, she stopped a career-high 19 shots in just her ninth collegiate match to backstop the Sherbrooke squad to a 2-2 draw at Montreal.
Last fall, Harrison started at 14 matches with a 1.26 goals against average and 74 total saves. Her six shutouts ranked third in the nation. She recorded two nine-save outings and posted a career-high 10 saves in a shutout victory over Concordia.
Prior to her collegiate debut, Harrison attended Cégep de Sherbrooke where she was nominated for the school's Female Athlete of the Year award and was named to the Division 2 All-Star team in back-to-back seasons. In her two high school seasons, she allowed a combined 11 goals, including just three as a sophomore while posting a 7-1 record. Harrison played club soccer for Celtix Haut-Richelieu in Ligue 1 and was nominated for 2024 Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year and helping the club to an 8-6-1 record.
