SEC Announces 2025 Volleyball Conference Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the 2025 volleyball conference schedule for the eighth season of Mississippi State volleyball under the guidance of Julie Darty Dennis.

For the first time in conference history, volleyball will feature programs from all 16 member institutions. Beginning with the 2025 SEC volleyball season, each institution will play each of the other member institutions once, either home or away, for a 15-match Conference schedule. Conference play will begin on September 24 and run through November 16. On top of the 15 game conference schedule, the SEC Tournament will return for the first time since 2005 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga.

The Bulldogs are set to host eight SEC matches inside of Newell-Grissom building during the 2025 campaign. State will host Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri and Vanderbilt in Starkville this season. This year marks the first season Vanderbilt has joined the conference in terms of volleyball.

State sees 12 returners from the 2024 season suit up in the Maroon and White this season, including junior AVCA All-Region honorable mention Arissa Smith at middle blocker and libero McKenna Yates, who was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week two times during her freshman campaign. The Bulldogs have also announced three signees to their 2025 signing class – opposite hitter Bernardita Aguilar and outside hitters, Hailey Campagna and Lindsey Mangelson.
