MLB Announces Spring Breakout Roster

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State baseball team will be represented by ten Pro Dawgs in the second annual edition of the MLB Spring Breakout, Major League Baseball announced on Thursday.

The Diamond Dawgs will be represented by Colton Ledbetter, RJ Yeager, Khal Stephen, Dakota Jordan, Will Bednar, David Mershon, Cade Smith, Jurrangelo Cijntje, Eric Cerantola and Tyson Hardin.

Spring Breakout returns in 2025 with 16 matchups on March 13-16. The four-day event showcases the future of baseball with games between the best prospects in each farm system across Grapefruit and Cactus League ballparks.

All 16 contests will take place in the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues and will be streamed live and blackout-free on MLB's digital platforms (MLB.com, MLB.TV and the MLB app) and partner platforms.
