No. 66 Bulldogs Fall to No. 23 Gamecocks

STARKVILLE – The No. 66 Mississippi State Bulldogs gave the No. 23 South Carolina Gamecocks a run for their money but fell short, 4-2.
MSU won the doubles point for the first time in SEC play which was backed by Bulldog pairs Jayna Clemens and Chiara Di Genova, and Emma Cohen and Alessia Tagliente.
Di Genova was the only Bulldog to go 2-0 on the day, as she defeated Helena Buchwald in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.

- Alessia Tagliente and Emma Cohen got their first ranked win of the season against No. 77 Bella Bergqvist Larsson and Olympe Lancelot, defeating them 6-2. This was also their second SEC doubles victory of the season.
