February 09, 2025 | Men's Tennis
STARKVILLE – No. 13 Mississippi State closed out its non-conference slate with a pair of shutouts on Sunday.
The Bulldogs began the day by blanking Memphis 7-0 inside the Rula Tennis Pavilion and capped a chilly evening with another 7-0 triumph against Jackson State at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre.
Records: Mississippi State 10-1 // Memphis 2-7 // Jackson State 0-3
Quotable: "We use each match as feedback for areas we can improve and our non-conference schedule was great feedback for where we are as a team. The guys love getting better and applying what they learned from matches in the weekend. This team is a lot of fun. We meet as a team early in the week and get a game plan together on how we can improve. Nothing changes for us now as we head into SEC play. We are going to keep working very hard and focus on what we can control day-to-day to improve." - MSU head coach Matt Roberts
