Bulldogs Fall Against Vanderbilt

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Mississippi State volleyball fell in straight sets against Vanderbilt in the first round of the SEC Tournament.

The Bulldogs are now 16-10 over the season.

Freshman Lindsey Mangelson led in kills and points, earning eight kills and 10 points in the match.

Gha'Naye Whitfield-Moss was the next closest in kills, earning 6 kills over three sets played.

McKenna Yates led in digs, totaling 13 over three sets played.

Cayley Hanson picked up 20 assists in the match, as well as five digs throughout the match.

The Bulldogs earned six service aces in the match. Mangelson led in aces, earning two, and Bernardita Aguilar, Noella Obi, Mary Neal and Hanson each earned one.
