#STATEtoSundays: Week 10 Update
November 11, 2025 | Football
For the second consecutive week, former Mississippi State standout cornerback Emmanuel Forbes snagged an interception.
Forbes picked off San Francisco quarterback Mac Jones midway through the fourth quarter and returned it 5 yards to help the Rams secure a 42-26 road win. It was his second interception of the season and the fourth of the former first-round pick's career.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) gave Forbes the third-best coverage grade for the Rams during Week 10. His five passes defended over the past two weeks are tied for the most in the NFL during that span.
Montez Sweat continues to embrace the famed "Monsters of the Midway" moniker on Chicago's defense. This past weekend, Sweat secured three tackles, 1 ½ sacks and two quarterback hurries.
The former first-round pick now has 5 ½ sacks this season, which already matches his total from 2024. He has racked up 52 ½ sacks over the course of his career and currently ranks fifth on the Bears with a 70.3 pressure grade this year.
Willie Gay notched his first sack of the season in his second start for Miami this year, earning the top pressure grade for the Dolphins in their 30-13 win over Buffalo. Gay owns the eight-best tackling grade among NFL linebackers this year at 81.7.
The Starkville native ranks second on the team in both tackling and coverage (77.3) grade while sitting third with an overall defensive grade of 76.9.
Preston Smith made a season-high five tackles for Washington while six-time Pro Bowler Darius Slay recorded the third-best tackling grade (76.7) for Pittsburgh with three stops during Week 10.
Charles Cross started at left tackle for Seattle and was awarded the best pass blocking grade this past Sunday at 83.2. Cross' 82.8 pass blocking grade for the year is the best on the Seahawks and ranks sixth among the league's tackles.
Elgton Jenkins once again started at center for Green Bay and provided a 79.9 pass blocking grade, which ranks second on the team. Jenkins' 72.5 pass blocking grade in 2025 is the second highest among Packers offensive linemen.
Jenkins was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday.
