Dawg Talk With Sam Purcell Returns On Monday

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State basketball's radio show, "Dawg Talk" presented by Learfield, returns on Monday at Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux from 7-8 p.m. CT with head coach Sam Purcell.
The 60-minute program airs on the MSU Sports Radio Network affiliates from Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux which is locally owned by State alumni and located at 996 MS HWY 12 E in Starkville. Jason Crowder, the voice of Mississippi State women's basketball, will serve as the show's host. Special guests for this week's episode include associate head coach Fred Castro, along with guards Jerkaila Jordan and Eniya Russell.

The Bulldogs have won their last two games since the previous episode of Dawg Talk, which includes a top-10 victory over Oklahoma and a road win in Athens against the Georgia Bulldogs. State now sits at 2-2 in SEC play and 15-3 on the season. Next up on the schedule is a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, as the Bulldogs are set to take on another top-20 foe, the Tennessee Volunteers, on Thursday. The Bulldogs will then return to Humphrey Colisuem to take on the Ole Miss Rebels on Sunday, January 19.
Coach Purcell is currently scheduled to make two more appearances on "Dawg Talk" this season on February 3 and February 24.
