Women’s Basketball To Play In 2026 Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The first piece of the 2026-27 Mississippi State women's basketball schedule has been revealed, as the Bulldogs will compete in the 2026 Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tipoff, a two-day event which begins on November 27. The tournament will be hosted on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.
The Bulldogs are one of eight top programs to play in the event. State will be joined in the Shell Division of the event with TCU, Indiana and Georgia Tech. Also in the event is LSU, NC State, Villanova and Kansas State, who make up the Island Division.
The Bulldogs will face off with Indiana and TCU during the event. Mississippi State owns the all-time series over the Horned Frogs, 2-1. They last matched up on the floor on March 24, 2023, where the Bulldogs walked away with a 68-61 victory inside of Humphrey Coliseum. The previous two matchups were split, both taking place on neutral floors.
Indiana holds a 2-1 advantage over the Bulldogs, with two of the three matchups taking place at neutral sites. The Bulldogs won the last matchup between the two teams on November 28, 2003, 70-67.
Dates and times for each matchup are to be determined. Individual session tickets will go on sale in September. Fans can also purchase travel packages, which will include tickets to all games of either the Island or Shell Division, on May 20. Fans can register for updates by clicking HERE.
