STARKVILLE - The Mississippi State Bulldogs regular season came to a close on Saturday afternoon as they were defeated by the Missouri Tigers 4-3. The Diamond Dawgs end the season with a 36-19 overall record and a 17-13 record in the SEC.

Pico Kohn drew the start on the mound for the Diamond Dawgs today. In three innings of work, he gave up two hits and two runs and retired five batters. The next three pitchers out of the bullpen, Luke Dotson, Gavin Black, and Nate Dohm, only gave up two hits combined and did not allow a run. Tyler Davis put out another strong performance in the ninth, only allowing one hit and no runs.

Bryce Chance and Logan Kohler led the way on the plate today. Chance went 3-for-4 with one RBI, and Kohler went 3-for-5 and scored a run. Joe Powell went 1-for-2 with an RBI, and Larry went 1-for-3 and scored a run.

Mississippi State is back in action next Tuesday in the SEC tournament in Hoover, Alabama.
