Bulldogs Fall to South Alabama in Biloxi

Amani Larry and Dakota Jordan led the way at the plate tonight as Larry went 2-for-5 while also accumulating three RBIs that came from his three-run homer. Jordan went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and those came from his two-run bomb. All of Mississippi State's runs came in the bottom of the fourth. Connor Hujsak complemented Jordan and Larry, going 2-for-4 with a double.
Bradley Loftin drew the start for the Diamond Dawgs. In three innings of work, he only allowed two hits while striking out six in 10 batters faced. Nolan Stevens also had an impressive performance tonight, allowing no hits, runs or walks and struck out one batter in one inning of work.
Mississippi State is back in action on Saturday when they face the University of New Orleans in the second game of the Hancock Whitney Classic. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on SECN+.
