STARKVILLE - The Mississippi State track and field team will be split as it partakes in both the Tiger Paw Invite and the Music City Challenge to conclude the regular season February 9-10. The Sprints and jumps squads will travel to Clemson S.C. while the middle distance, distance and throws squads will travel to Nashville, Tenn.

Music City Challenge – February 9-10

The Tiger Paw Invite will be held at the Rock Norman Track & Field Complex of the campus of Clemson University. The meet will feature six SEC schools, including four teams ranked inside the top 25 of the week three USTFCAA rankings. Ranked teams on the men's side include Alabama (7) and Texas A&M (10),while ranked teams on the women's side include Texas A&M (5), Georgia (8).

The competition for the Tiger Paw Invite will begin Friday, February 9 at 10 a.m. CT. State will start their first events at noon in the women's long jump and the women's qualifying 60m hurdles. Saturday's competition will begin at 8 a.m. CT with the Bulldogs beginning their first event at 11 a.m. CT in the 800m.

The rest of the MSU team will travel to Vanderbilt for the Music City Challenge February 9-10. The meet will be held at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility and feature five SEC schools, including Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Missouri and Vanderbilt.

Friday's events will begin at 10:30 a.m. CT with the women's weight throw, followed by track events beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT with the mile. Saturday's competition will start at 8:30 a.m. CT with the women's 3000m followed by shot put beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT.

Live Streaming
The Tiger Paw Invitational and the Music City Challenge will be available to stream on both Friday and Saturday.

The Tiger Paw Invite will be streamed online via the ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), with Friday's stream beginning at 11 a.m. CT and Saturday's stream beginning at 8 a.m. CT.

The Music City Challenge will be streamed on SEC Network+ with Friday and Saturday streams beginning at 9:25 a.m. CT.

Qualifying for NCAA Championships
The 2024 NCAA Division I men's and women's indoor track and field selections will be from qualifying performances from December 1 through February 25. February 25 is the last date a qualifying performance may be achieved, except for conference championships. February 26 will mark the last date a qualifying performance may be achieved from conference championships. The final list of NCAA participants will be available on February 27. On March 6, the final championships start lists will be posted on the NCAA website.
