NASSAU, Bahamas. – After day one of the Nexus Collegiate Invitational, the Mississippi State women's golf squad sits in a tie for sixth place. The Bulldogs finished 10-over as a team in round one.

Julia Lopez Ramirez carded the best round of the day for the Dawgs. She finished 1-over in the opening round, which puts her in a tie for 15th. Lopez Ramirez carded a team-best four birdies on the day.

Avery Weed and Izzy Pellot both sit right outside the top-20. Weed and Pellot both finished 2-over to sit in a tie for 19th.

Day two of the Nexus Collegiate will tee off on Tuesday morning. Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com
